White 2024 Nissan GT-R | Nissan dealer in Norfolk, VA | Banister Nissan of Norfolk

Speed is the name of the game when it comes to the bold and aggressive GT-R. This all-wheel-drive sports car features an updated exterior with a thinner grille and reshaped spoilers that increase the downforce on the vehicle without raising the drag coefficient. This means that when you drive the 2024 Nissan GT-R, you have more power, sharper acceleration, and more speed.

Power and Performance

This powerful sports car has two engine options. The first powertrain option is standard on the Premium and T-Spec models, which are the base and medium trim levels. The 3.8L V6 engine is aggressive, with 565 horsepower and 467 pounds per foot of max torque. The NISMO model features a twin-turbocharged 3.8L V6 that drops an incredible 600 horsepower with 481 lb-ft of maximum torque.

Dual-Clutch Transmission

Every model of the GT-R features a smooth dual-clutch six-speed automatic transmission that comes with three driver-selectable modes. The dual-clutch system shifts how you drive with odd- and even-numbered gears being controlled by separate clutches. This ensures that you have lightning-fast gear changes, especially when in R-mode.

The three-mode system on this transmission allows for on-the-fly adjustments. The three switches adjust the performance parameters of the Vehicle Dynamic Control system, suspension, and transmission. You can choose between Normal, Special, and R-Mode to tailor the vehicle’s performance to suit your mood and drive.

Multi-Function Display

You can track your drive and vehicle statistics with the video game-inspired Multi-Function Display, created in collaboration with Polyphony Digital, inside the GT-R. This display tracks the sports car’s dynamics and puts them in one easy-to-find location. Adjust the display to track your chassis dynamics, stopwatch/lap time, temperature and pressure, lateral acceleration, and engine statistics.

The engine statistics page can be customized to view your oil temperature, oil pressure, and turbo boost. The lateral acceleration page monitors your acceleration Gs and throttle position in addition to your turbo boost. Switch to the chassis dynamics page to monitor your overall Gs, brake pedal use, and cornering. The bottom line is that the Multifunction Display is the perfect companion technology to a powerful racing machine.

ATTESA ET-S AWD

Every model of this sports car comes equipped with an advanced ATTESA ET-S all-wheel-drive system. This AWD system is exceptionally capable and provides the feel and response of a rear-wheel drive vehicle. This system features variable torque distribution between both axles to ensure you get an exhilarating drive.

Sports cars are superior vehicles that need to be regularly maintained to ensure that they can continue to destroy competition on the track and wow your friends at home. Call us at Banister Nissan of Norfolk, VA, to schedule an appointment with our Nissan-trained technicians, and let us keep your Nissan purring like the day you drove it off the lot.
